Job Summary:

We are seeking a

Data Migration Technical Lead

to own and oversee the technical delivery of data migration projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in

ETL design, data transformation, validation, and reconciliation

, along with experience guiding teams using

Syniti (formerly BackOffice Associates)

and

LSMW tools

.

This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in complex data environments and can ensure the seamless transition of data across legacy and target systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and own the

technical design

for all

data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL)

processes. Provide

technical leadership and guidance

to the development team on data migration tools such as

Syniti

and

LSMW

. Review and validate

data mapping documents

,

transformation logic

, and

business rules

for all data objects. Establish and enforce

data validation routines

,

error-handling mechanisms

, and

post-load reconciliation reports

to ensure migration quality. Coordinate

technical testing

,

data validation

, and

error resolution

during trial and production migration cycles. Troubleshoot and resolve

technical issues

related to ETL performance, transformation logic, and data quality. Optimize performance of ETL processes and ensure compliance with

migration governance and audit standards

. Maintain

technical documentation

, ensure

version control

, and contribute to continuous improvement of migration frameworks. Collaborate with

functional leads

,

business users

, and

project managers

to align migration timelines and deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience:

3+ years of experience in

data migration, ETL, or data integration

projects. Strong hands-on expertise in

Syniti (Information Steward Accelerator, ADM, CranSoft)

and/or

LSMW

. Proven experience designing and executing

end-to-end ETL workflows

. Deep understanding of

data mapping, transformation logic

, and

data validation techniques

. Strong proficiency in

SQL

,

data profiling

, and

error analysis

. Experience working with

SAP ECC/S/4HANA

or other ERP systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with

data governance

,

data quality

, and

audit compliance

practices. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science, Information Systems

, or related field. Experience in

large-scale SAP data migration

or

system transformation

projects. Exposure to

Azure Data Factory

,

Informatica

, or

other ETL platforms

is an advantage.

Pay: $75.00-$80.00 per hour
