About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

SAP Data Migration Consultant

with hands-on expertise in

SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services)

and

EMIGAL (Enhanced Migration Tool for IS-U)

to support large-scale SAP implementation and transformation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for

designing, developing, and executing data migrationstrategies

from legacy systems to SAP environments (ECC or S/4HANA), ensuring data quality, completeness, and accuracy throughout the migration lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Lead

end-to-end data migration

activities, including planning, analysis, mapping, design, development, validation, and execution. Design and implement

data migration strategies

and methodologies aligned with project requirements and business objectives. Develop

ETL jobs and data transformation logic

using

SAP BODS

for extracting, cleansing, and loading data from multiple legacy systems. Configure and execute data migration using

SAP IS-U EMIGAL

for customer, contract, billing, and device data. Collaborate with

functional teams

(IS-U, FICA, Billing, CRM, etc.) to ensure accurate data mapping between source and target systems. Validate and reconcile migrated data against business rules and ensure compliance with data governance standards. Perform

data quality checks, audit reporting

, and error resolution throughout migration cycles. Support multiple

mock conversions, dry runs, and go-live cutover

activities. Document migration procedures, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications. Work with

SAP Basis, ABAP, and business users

to optimize performance and resolve migration issues efficiently. Provide post-go-live

data stabilization and hypercare support

Required Skills and Experience

5+ years

of experience in

SAP Data Migration

projects.

3+ years

of hands-on experience with

SAP BODS

(Data Services) - ETL design, data profiling, transformation, and load optimization. Proven experience using

SAP IS-U EMIGAL

tool for master data and transactional data migration. Strong understanding of

SAP IS-U data model

- BP, Contract Accounts, Contracts, Devices, Installations, Billing, and Meter Data. Experience in

data cleansing, data quality management

, and

data validation frameworks

. Solid knowledge of

SQL

,

data modeling

, and

data integration concepts

. Experience working across

functional and technical teams

in an SAP implementation environment (ECC or S/4HANA). Familiarity with

data cutover planning, reconciliation reports, and defect management

processes. Excellent analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with

SAP S/4HANA Utilities

SAP IS-U

, or

SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)

. Exposure to

BODS performance tuning

and

job scheduling

using Management Console. Basic understanding of

Education

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $80.00-$85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
