Role Summary

:

The

Data Management Specialist

is responsible for building and maintaining enterprise data solutions that enable accurate, consistent, and accessible information for business decision-making. This role will play a key part in developing and optimizing Carlsberg's

data warehouse

and ensuring strong governance of master data within the

ERP system



Accountabilities:



Data Warehousing - Build and maintain ETL packages and other integration flows using SSIS, Power Automate and Python across a range of data sources using defined best practice.

Data Cleansing - Utilize appropriate tools and processes to cleanse and validate data during and after the load process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usability for end users.

Data Enrichment & Mapping - Enhance data by applying business rules, classifications, and mappings (e.g., product brand, drink style, account name) to align with internal definitions and improve analytical value.

Data Quality and Assurance - Conduct data quality assessments, ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity, and perform audits and validation checks.

Master Data Management - Establish and enforce governance policies for master data domains within the ERP system.

Problem Solving - Troubleshoot data issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to ensure reliable and trusted data for business users.

Collaboration - Work with business development, supply chain and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver integrated solutions that meet business needs.

Education & Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics, or a related field

Have a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Data Management Specialist or in a similar role

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts with hands-on experience using data warehouse technologies.

Experience with data modeling techniques and tools, as well as designing and managing ETL/ELT processes.

Hands-on experience writing complex SQL for querying, transforming, and managing data including creating stored procedures for automation and other database operations

Knowledge of BI/reporting tools including creating semantic models

Team oriented individual with strong communication skills, who is comfortable engaging with different groups within the organization (including non-technical audiences).

Strong project management and organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and manage high priority projects with multiple or competing deadlines.

Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and innovative approaches for resolution.

Experience with Business Central is an asset
