Job summary/Purpose of the job

The responsibilities of this job include translating business needs into requirements, identifying opportunities for process improvement, extracting & transforming data, managing requirements, and ensuring delivered solutions meet and exceed expectations. The role involves analyzing, designing, implementing, extracting and interpreting data, and maintaining IT and information systems to meet the needs of the CCA, bridging the gap between Technology and business using data analytics. He/she is responsible for the vendor-based and custom software system architecture.
Key responsibilities

\xe2\x97\x8f Reviews and generates reports for current applications, systems, network, software and hardware and creates/updates the Flow diagrams for IS
\xe2\x97\x8f Meets and collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify business requirements, translates into BRD\'s, develops reports, workflows, dashboard and determines cost effective and scalable system requirements
\xe2\x97\x8f Leads/Guides other departments to identify opportunities for data-driven decision making and implements & maintains data analysis processes, and best practices
\xe2\x97\x8f Documents reports, project Charter, scope, plan, roadmap with the help of supervisor
\xe2\x97\x8f Contributes in training CCA staff learning on IS initiatives
\xe2\x97\x8f Upgrades his/her skills regularly as per the requirements of the position and CCA, anand updates or creates new programs/applications accordingly
\xe2\x97\x8f Designs innovative and data-driven solutions using critical thinking skills and niche technologies like AI/ML

Decision-making and Autonomy :
Has a low level of autonomy in decision making. Has the knowledge, experience, to make decisions independently (based on CCA system requirements) for identifying various options for a particular program enhancement or replacement. Expected to discuss and seek approval for final selection with Associate Director, IS and stakeholders as appropriate.

Required to work and collaborate with various divisions

Specific Working Conditions :
Expected to work in an office environment (35 hours per week). No requirement for over time or weekend support.

Required Qualifications :
\xe2\x97\x8f Education: Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or the equivalent
\xe2\x97\x8f Number of years of relevant work experience: Minimum 3 years in system analysis with 1-2 years in data analysis
\xe2\x97\x8f Proficient in French and English language
\xe2\x97\x8f Proficient in SQL and experience working with RDBMS.
\xe2\x97\x8f Able to build codeless applications and develop business insight using Power Apps, Power BI tools.
\xe2\x97\x8f Project management skills. Certification in Scrum or PMP is an asset
\xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of data modelling and data visualization & ETL tools is an asset.
\xe2\x97\x8f Experience working on cloud is an asset.
