The results of this competition may be used to staff similar term or indeterminate positions within the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).

  • Position is eligible for full-time telework for candidates located outside the National Capital Region.
Job Summary

Identifies the need for, develops and maintains administrative procedures, program guidelines, and templates for all Research Partnership Programs and publishes in documentation repository Trains new and existing staff on procedures and background for the procedures in one on one and group sessions; coaches staff and troubleshoots as problems arise.

Statement of Qualifications

Education

High School Graduation

Experience

Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) would be considered a strong asset
Experience in training and providing advice to users
Experience in reviewing and analysing administrative controls and processes, in recommending improvements to increase the efficiency of procedures and processes
Experience in querying software such as Business Objects would be considered an asset

Knowledge

General knowledge of Council's policies, objectives and programs structure
Knowledge of policies, directives and procedures related to the administration of the College and Community Innovation (CCI) Program would be considered an asset
