Core Responsibilities
Dashboard Development & Reporting
Design, build, and maintain commercial dashboards focusing on sales performance, customer behaviour, ad performance, campaign analysis, and other consumer KPIs
Migrate existing reporting from PowerBI to Metabase, establishing best practices for dashboard design and data visualization
Create self-service dashboards that enable stakeholders across the organization to access and understand key metrics independently
Develop operational, financial, and customer-focused reporting to support decision-making at all levels
Data Analysis & Insights
Conduct ad hoc analysis to answer critical business questions and uncover opportunities for revenue growth and operational improvement
Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights with a focus on the "so what" -- connecting analysis directly to business impact
Identify trends and patterns in customer behavior, booking patterns, and sales performance to inform commercial strategy
Support new product development by providing data-driven insights and recommendations based on customer and market analysis
Data Infrastructure & Integration Strategy
Define data requirements and integration strategies to ensure analytics needs are met as new systems and tools are implemented
Partner with the Technical Product Manager to specify what data is needed, from which sources, and how it should flow into the analytics stack
Work with customer data platforms (Segment CDP) and data warehouses to ensure clean, reliable data flows
Evaluate new tools and data sources for their integration feasibility and impact on reporting capabilities
Document data processes and create data dictionaries to support team understanding and self-sufficiency
Ensure data quality and accessibility across systems through ongoing monitoring and collaboration with technical teams
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner closely with Director , Commercial growth other non-technical stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities
Present findings and recommendations in a clear, compelling way that drives action
Act as the go-to person for data-related questions, providing guidance and insights to support decision-making
Proactively identify opportunities where data and analytics can drive business value
REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years of experience
in a data analyst, business intelligence analyst, or similar analytical role
Consumer-facing business experience
with demonstrated ability to analyze customer behavior, sales trends, and commercial metrics
Data warehouse experience
, including designing queries and working with structured customer data
Proven track record of building dashboards and reports in
BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms
Strong
SQL proficiency
with the ability to write complex queries, joins, and aggregations
Experience working with
APIs, data connectors, and scripting (Python, R, or similar)
to understand data integration possibilities and automate reporting workflows
Commercial mindset
: Ability to connect data insights to business outcomes and communicate the "so what" effectively
Self-starter mentality
: Comfortable working independently, problem-solving, and building your own skill set without constant technical supervision
Experience with
customer data platforms (CDPs)
such as Segment
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Desirable but not required
Familiarity with
Metabase
or willingness to learn quickly
Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques
Experience supporting product development or growth initiatives

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
