Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team in North Vancouver. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by utilizing your expertise in various welding techniques and fabrication processes to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional steel solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong skill set for fabricating and welding metal components according to blueprints and specifications. Must have a strong desire for advancement into lead hand and or foreman position.

Responsibilities

Perform flux core , and all position Stick welding on various materials Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Fabricate components according to specifications Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Conduct quality inspections on completed welds Use measuring tools to ensure accuracy in fabrication Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines Inspect finished product for quality and accuracy Maintain a clean and organized work environment Adhere to safety protocols and CWB codes & standards

Qualifications

CWB Supervisor CWB CERTIFIED Minimum 2 years Proven experience as a Fabricator/ CWB Welder or similar role Proficiency in Flux core and Stick welding techniques Strong ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings and schematics Familiarity with fabrication processes and machinery Basic math skills for measurements and calculations Mechanical knowledge related to welding equipment Experience on construction sites is a plus Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Overhead crane and forklift operation experience Fall protection, Scissor lift, boom lift and telehandler tickets are required or training will be needed. Training and assistance can be provided

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
