The Role:

We're looking for a motivated

Customs Specialist & Operations Supervisor

to deepen our customs expertise and oversee day-to-day logistics operations. This hybrid role is ideal for someone passionate about customs clearance and eager to grow into a leadership position within a small but dynamic company.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and supervise customs entries and declarations (LCL/FCL ocean freight, courier, LTL ground shipments from the USA). Manage customs compliance and liaise directly with clients. Supervise and mentor two employees responsible for customs documentation and transportation logistics. Oversee freight forwarding operations, including shipment booking and carrier coordination. Help document, optimize, and improve customs and logistics processes. Make independent decisions while knowing when to escalate complex issues. Collaborate on internal software/tools improvements and workflows.

Who You Are:

Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation is a plus but not required. Solid hands-on experience in Canadian customs brokerage with a genuine interest in customs and shipping. Leadership skills: ability to supervise, train, and support junior employees. Independent, proactive, with good judgment and communication skills. . Familiarity with customs software/platforms is helpful, but a strong understanding of customs processes matters most.
