About Starship Celebrating over 30 years in business, Starship Freight is a third-party transportation logistics company, located in Georgetown, Ontario. We are currently seeking an individual with the following skills to join our team as a Freight Coordinator.
General Summary Track shipments and keep our team and our customers updated as necessary. Support Customer Service Representatives with any overflowing tasks they may have.
Core Functions
- Build relationship with current and future customer and suppliers
- Responding to customer inquiries as related to services and general inquiries
- Track orders daily for our customers to ensure on time deliveries
- Communicate with receivers to accommodate flawless and timely deliveries
- Keep records of customer interactions or transaction, record details of inquiries, complaints or comments as well as actions taken
- Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation
Qualifications
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks at a time
- Demonstrates ability for problem solving to determine solutions for customers
- Must be able to work both independently and within team environment
