The Customer Service Supervisor role is to ensure the Canduct order management and production planning process is robust, consistently implemented across all customers and projects, and yields expected results as demonstrated in external and internal performance measures.
Responsibilities:
Assign specific responsibilities to Production Planners by customer.
Manage short-term production scheduling; work with production manager to ensure timely completion of customer orders.
Manage the transition of planning responsibilities for new customers to Production Planner as required.
Plan and maintain the appropriate number of planning staff based on customer base and order flow (type and frequency).
Use internal and external performance measures to continually assess performance of planning staff.
Maintain direct customer interface with all customers
Ensure timely release of work orders to shop floor with accurate information (product details, process routing, costing, etc.).
Support production planning staff with cross departmental or customer-based problem resolution issues.
Qualifications
College diploma or University degree in a technical or related field
3+ years in customer service/production planning role in a manufacturing environment
3+ years experience in power sector (transformer or insulation manufacturing) or in mid to high volume manufacturing environment, wood working preferred
