Reporting to the Terminal Manager, the Customer Services Specialist provides support to the day-to-day Operation in the Kamloops Terminal through the efficient and professional administration of full-cycle customer service duties.

The POSITION and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creating customer orders, confirming order details, and advising on order estimated time of arrival
• Creating documents for extra billing to customers
• Assisting dispatcher with Total Mail monitoring and incoming phone call volume
• Ensuring timely submission of paperwork
• Managing Driver Pay Portal
• Investigating and assisting with driver payroll inquiries
• Assisting terminal support staff with driver administration duties
• Managing various reports
• Administering other duties as assigned like site maps and fuel cards

The INDIVIDUAL and QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of Grade 12 education
• Knowledge of the transportation industry is an asset
• Must have strong computer skills \xe2\x80\x93 excel, word and outlook (TMW experience is an asset)
• Willingness to learn dispatch tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently
