Job Title: Customer Service Instructor, Evening Program Job Location: Toronto, ON
Description:
Greystone College Toronto is seeking Casual/Permanent Instructors for evening classes: Mondays to Thursdays 5:30 pm to 9:15 pm (subject to change). Come join a college where you are more than faculty but a true valued member of our community!

Job Duties: The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Deliver instruction that follows established program curriculum
  • Prepare materials for presentation to students as required, in an interactive and student-centered environment in the classroom, and/or hybrid (Zoom or Teams)
  • Apply learning strategies and techniques to classes of 20-25 international students with a high beginner to intermediate level of English
  • Teach and guide students in customer service orientated class projects
  • Provide individual feedback and direction to students throughout the program
  • Evaluate and document student progress
  • Keep abreast of current industry practices
  • Other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:
  • One of the following is required:
    • Post-secondary degree and minimum 2 years of work experience in service-related industry
    • 10 years of service industry related experience
Preference will be given to candidates with the following:
  • Provincial Instructor Diploma or equivalent or minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience in Learning Management System (Moodle) and online teaching an asset
  • Experience in TESOL international students a strong asset
