We like ambitious individuals who can bring their own unique passions and skills to the team! About the Position At Prom\xc3\xa9tour Educational Tours, we organize student travel. Our primary clientele are teachers from Canada and the US looking to bring their students abroad. As a tour manager, you are responsible for ensuring that the teacher and their students get a quality tour. This entails working with different departments within the Montreal office, as well our offices abroad so that everything is ready to go for when our groups travel! Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent spoken and written English; French and Spanish an asset
  • 2-3 years of customer service experience ideally within the travel or hospitality industry
  • College diploma or equivalent an asset
  • A collaborative team spirit and a customer-service mind-set
  • Critical thinking, highly organized, and attention to detail
  • Computer software savvy and adaptable to new technology
  • Background in the travel or education industry an asset
* Your Future as a Tour Manager Liaise between the customer and various departments within the Montreal office and offices abroad.
  • Responsible for handling questions, concerns and special requests from customers prior to their tour.
  • Demonstrate professionalism at all times; on the phone, through email, and during meetings.
  • Ensure deadlines and tasks are being met/completed prior to a groups departure on tour.
  • Verification of invoices, generating spreadsheets, and preparing final itineraries.
  • Occasionally meeting groups when they travel locally.
