Overview:

As a bilingual directory assistance agent, you will be responsible for providing support to all users of the network covered by Canada's leading residential telecommunications provider. This is an ideal position for someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear and accurate information.

What we offer:

  • Competitive base salary; $18.25/hour (including a premium of $3.00 on worked hours)
  • Sunday to Saturday, 24 hours a day;
  • Overnight work premium of $1.50/hour
  • Bilingualism (French and English), both written and spoken;
  • High school diploma or the equivalent completed;
  • Typing speed of 30 words/minute;
  • Excellent communication skills - You can express yourself clearly and concisely;
  • Ability to multi-task in a computerized environment;
  • Excellent attention to detail and a genuine desire to help others - customer service and problem-solving are your strengths!
Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:
  • Answer calls and provide the following services:
  • Directory assistance (411);
  • International call transfer (0);
  • Emergency call forwarding (911).
  • Perform various tasks simultaneously such as:
  • Listen actively to the request and question, as needed, to clarify what is being sought;
  • Do a search in the computerized application and take note of the information in the required fields.
  • Demonstrate rigour in the respect of the various objectives and procedures established;
  • At all times, offer courteous and professional service and support in line with the expected quality standards;
  • When necessary, identify and communicate irregular situations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, DEC in administrative/office technology, or the equivalent;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced computerized environment;
  • Be fluently bilingual (English and French) with excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work fulltime on site.
Training start date: September 26th
