Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Preparation Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of meals and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, experience in the food industry, and a commitment to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare fresh ingredients daily, including chicken, burger patties, sandwich toppings, and house-made sauces. Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Follow recipes and instructions to prepare various dishes while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items and equipment. Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe handling of all food products. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and support during peak hours. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Support kitchen operations by restocking supplies, monitoring inventory, and assisting with deliveries. Uphold Chicken N' Dough's commitment to quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous food prep or kitchen experience preferred but not required--training provided. Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes is essential. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
