We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Team Member and or Cashier to join our small business team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role involves various kitchen responsibilities, including meal preparation, food handling, maintaining food safety standards, and is proficient in English to ensure exceptional service and maintain quality.
Duties
Assist in meal preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
Handle food safely and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Support staff by preparing dishes for service and assisting with packaging.
Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
Uphold high standards of quality in food presentation, taste, and service contributing to an exceptional dining experience.
Qualifications
Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling practices.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen environment.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and on weekends.
