Job Description
John Ross & Sons Ltd. is a fourth generation, family owned, scrap metal recycler. The company is the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada and has been in operation for over 70 years. John Ross & Sons Ltd. specializes in purchasing and processing all scrap metals. We are currently looking for a dynamic Customer service Administrator to join our team in Goodwood!
This location is not on a bus route, ideal candidate must have reliable transportation
. Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday 7am-5pm. Saturdays 7am-12noon as scheduled.Key Duties/Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Office Manager, the essential functions of the Administration Clerk will include, but are not limited to:
Reception Duties Customers Service Scaling Truck Weights Document Processing Data Entry Maintaining Purchases Spreadsheets Cash Dispenser and Reconciliation General Office Filing Assist all departments with administrative tasks as and when required Keeping work area clean and organize
Knowledge/Experience:
2-4 years experience in a cash environment; able to multi task in a fast-past industrial environment with a positive and friendly manner Experience with MS Office applications, Excel, Windows 10 and other software is a
must
Highly organized with an ability to prioritize a changing work load Attention to detail is a must Ability to multi task and set priorities in a fast paced environment Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable will be considered an assetCandidates must pass a Criminal Record Check as a condition of employment
