Job Description

Demeter Veterinary Services is part of a Canadian team of 20 veterinarians dedicated to the swine industry. The head office is located in Levis, Quebec, while operations are performed from Woodstock, Ontario. We support swine producers in Ontario, but also across Canada through the collaboration with 3 other veterinary offices and pharmacies (Quebec, Manitoba and Alberta). Customer service and support is our top priority. Your first priority will be to serve Ontario producers. In addition, you will also work closely with the full DVS team in order to continuously improve the different services provided to the entire Canadian customer base.

Job Summary



We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Customer Service & Billing clerk to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be primarily will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, customer orders by phone, text or email along with providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer issues, and maintaining customer satisfaction. They will also collaborate with internal teams to improve overall customer experience.

Customer Service Responsibilities



Work in a spirit of partnership with the entire Demeter team to provide the highest level of customer service to our producers. Answering the phone for customer needs and orders, inputting orders for processing, customer follow-ups Miscellaneous administrative tasks, as requested, including invoicing, ordering, event planning support etc. Provide support with warehouse duties, including but not limited to if time permits, packing pharmacy orders as well as inventory counts Collaborate with the Demeter team for the communication, use and improvement of various tools that we offer Identify customer needs and services or tools that bring value to our customer base and service Update and maintain our customer order history database Participate in the regular communications with customers.

Billing Clerk Key Responsibilities



Data Entry: Accurately enter invoice information into the accounting system. Verify Transactions: Review invoices for completeness and accuracy, ensuring that all necessary information is included. Customer Communication: Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries and follow-up as required.

Qualifications



Excellent written and verbal communication skills Understanding of basic accounting math Excel knowledge is required Strong attention to detail to keep accurate customer orders and accounting entries Great customer service skills to work with various producers Knowledge of data entry for record keeping General administrative skills, including managing emails Excellent time management and organizational skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to safety standards and procedures Diploma or degree in administration is preferred, but not necessary

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
