This role in summary



Whirlpool is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Consumer Booking Coordinator This role will be located in Ontario, Canada, at our Mississauga location The Consumer Booking Coordinator is accountable for contacting consumers to schedule/reschedule home deliveries. In this new role, you will work closely with the Home Delivery Order Management Team to ensure a seamless customer experience that instills trust and earns loyalty. You will be on the front line and will be responsible for delivering courteous and professional support in a fast-paced environment. Employees in this role can work a hybrid schedule of three core days in office and two days remote. This enables employees to come together to collaborate in-person and gives employees the added flexibility to work remotely .

Your responsibilities will include



  • Manage both outbound and inbound calls from consumers regarding delivery and/or pickup schedules, delivery escalations, including but not limited to a missed delivery appointment, delivery window confirmation, claims reporting, etc.
  • De-escalate and work with the appropriate team to resolve order & delivery challenges.
  • Set the appropriate expectations with consumers regarding their delivery process
  • Manage and respond to email inquiries from consumers and/or trade partners within established timelines
  • Work with leadership and cross-functional partners to establish and document work processes
  • Communicate processes and policies to internal & external parties as appropriate
  • Ensure adherence to established guidelines and follow Standard Operating Procedures
  • Identify process improvement opportunities
  • Support overall Whirlpool Canada business strategies

Minimum requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years’ experience working customer service inbound, outbound calls

  • Customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented high performer with excellent follow-up skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Superior multi-tasking ability
  • Team player that displays the ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Organizational skills and the ability to establish priorities while demonstrating an appropriate sense of urgency
  • Experience using SAP and Google Suite products is an asset
