Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics to support construction and engineering projects. This role requires proficiency in various CAD software and drafting techniques, with an emphasis on accuracy, clarity, and adherence to project specifications. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within a collaborative environment, contributing to the successful completion of complex designs.

Duties

Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, and SolidWorks. Create schematics and technical documentation aligned with project requirements. Interpret architectural, civil, mechanical, or electrical plans to produce accurate detailing for construction or manufacturing purposes. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Assist in the preparation of construction documents and fabrication drawings. Utilize drafting skills to visualize concepts through 2D animation or other visualization tools when necessary. Maintain organized digital files and ensure version control throughout project phases. Review drawings for errors or inconsistencies before final submission.

Experience

Proven experience in CAD drafting and detailing within construction, civil engineering, or manufacturing industries. Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, and SolidWorks is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of schematics, technical schematics, and drafting standards. Familiarity with construction processes and terminology is advantageous. Experience with 2D animation or visualization tools is a plus but not required. Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and schematics accurately. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Pay: $17.20-$30.25 per hour
