About the Role

We're looking for a Draftsperson to to join our design team in Port Carling.
This is a hands-on technical design role, focused on producing accurate drawings, details, and documentation for custom cabinetry and interior projects.

For the right candidate, this position offers the opportunity to grow into a Designer and Project Manager role, taking on client interaction, design development, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cabinetry and interior drawings and rendering using Revit and Enscape Translate design concepts into accurate technical documentation for fabrication and installation. Coordinate with designers, trades, and production team to ensure accuracy and constructability. Review architectural drawings and site conditions to inform design solutions. Maintain organized project files and drawing standards. Support project managers and designers through all project stages -- from concept to completion.

Qualifications

Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar 2D drafting software, 3D modeling experience is an asset. Revit training will be provided if required. Strong attention to detail, spatial understanding, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of cabinetry construction, millwork, or architectural detailing is an asset. Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on more responsibility over time. Post-secondary education in Architectural Technology, Interior Design, or a related field is an asset.
