Job Description

J.D. Irving, Limited is currently seeking candidates for a Custodian position in Sussex, NB. This is a full-time, permanent position.

This position starts at $17.50/hour & includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:

• Education Required: High School Diploma
• Years of Experience Required:

2 years of experience as a general labourer or cleaner * Must be a self-starter

• Hardworking with a strong work ethic
• Keen eye for detail
• Ability to work in a safety sensitive environment, with a passion for working safely
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Demonstrate a willingness to work in a fast paced ever-changing environment

Key Responsibilities:

• This is a site wide position, working in a variety of areas and buildings
• Cleaning various types of locations (offices, lunch rooms, entry ways, rest rooms, camps)
• Handling and lifting materials
• General cleaning and associated laborer responsibilities
