J.D. Irving, Limited is currently seeking candidates for the following Custodian opportunity to work as part of a team responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the J.D. Irving, Limited Head Office building located in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Qualifications:

• Education Required: High School Diploma or Trade Certification
• Experience cleaning in a corporate setting considered an asset
• Ability to work evenings (shift is 5:00pm to 12:00am Monday to Friday)
• Ability to work full-time (35 hours per week)
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere with minimal supervision

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain both carpeted and hard surface flooring
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitization of washrooms, lunchrooms and coffee stations
• Empty refuse containers from office areas, lunch rooms, and washrooms
• Ensure the environment is free of dust through cleaning of the following surfaces:

• Desks and returns
• File cabinets
• Bookcases
• Tops of office partitions
• To carry out any other custodial related duties as requested by your supervisor
