Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team for the 2023/2024 school year. This is a contracted position. As the school\'s Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students, teachers and community members. The Custodian will have access to the school building after 3:30pm each school day. Responsibilities:
- Perform porter duties such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors
- Conduct industrial cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, classrooms and other common areas
- Ensure all trash is disposed of properly
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in custodial or facilities maintenance work preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
