Curriculum Specialist, Western College of Veterinary MedicinePrimary Purpose: This position will provide centralized oversight and management of the WCVM undergraduate curriculum. This includes ensuring a cohesive approach to workflow through curriculum mapping, and student timetable coordination to ensure consistent program delivery and compliance with accreditation standards. This position will play a key role in the transition of veterinary students at each promotion point and work to ensure that content and timeliness of programming are efficient and organized. This position will also take on curriculum related projects as identified and requested by the WCVM leadership team.Nature of Work: Reporting to the Curriculum Manager and working closely with the Associate Dean, Clinical Programs and the Associate Dean, Academic, the Curriculum Specialist will build and maintain professional relationships with various stakeholders including students, faculty and outside stakeholders including private practitioners and members of industry. In consultation with the Associate Dean, Clinical Program and the Associate Dean, Academic, this individual will update and maintain current curriculum policies and programs, as well as work with faculty to enhance the undergraduate student program. This position will work with the Academic office in the creation and management of OSCEs. This position requires the ability to make timely decisions while working under pressure in an environment of continuous change and have the ability to multi-task.Typical Duties or Accountabilities:
