Job Summary



A Brief Overview





This position supports the ongoing enhancement of the MD curriculum through alignment with program objectives and accreditation standards. The Curricular Coordinator collaborates with faculty, academic leadership, and administrative teams in the design and implementation of curriculum initiatives, contributing to the development of schedules, learning materials, and communication plans. The incumbent plays a key role in ensuring a cohesive and effective experiential learning experience for students across all phases of the program.


This position coordinates experiential program opportunities to enable students to apply their skills. This position coordinates assessment and evaluation processes.


This position collects, synthesizes, and records program assessment data, and updates and maintains databases. This position also maintains an inventory of student placement opportunities, and maintains relationships with providers, arranges visits, and works with external agencies to confirm placements throughout the academic year.



What you will do




Coordinates experiential program opportunities to enable students to apply their skills.



Coordinates assessment and evaluation processes.


Collects, synthesizes, and records program assessment data, and updates and maintains databases.


Analyzes data to support decision-making on the appropriateness of experiential learning opportunities, and identifies new learning and placement opportunities.


Coordinates with participating organizations to confirm appropriate level of liability insurance coverage.


Maintains an inventory of student placement opportunities, and maintains relationships with providers, arranges visits, and works with external agencies to confirm placements throughout the academic year.


Provides administrative support for assessment and evaluation programs.

Other duties as required in support of the department and/or unit.

Required Education

Four-Year Bachelor Degree or equivalent.

Required Experience

More than 3 years and up to and including 5 years of experience.

Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Lead procedural or technological change within a unit.
Identify new problems and seek information and input to fully understand the cause of problems.
Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work processes.
Draw logical conclusions and provides opinions and recommendations.
