As a Cultural Support Worker, you'll walk alongside Indigenous community members on their personal and cultural healing journeys. This role is rooted in relationship-based service delivery and grounded in Indigenous knowledge systems, with a deep understanding of trauma, community, and ceremony.
You'll offer one-on-one and group-based support, facilitate land-based and cultural programming, and co-create spaces of safety, belonging, and reconnection. Working closely with our Core Services team, you'll help ensure every community member feels seen, heard, and held in care.

What You'll Do
Community & Cultural Support
? Offer one-on-one and group-based support rooted in Indigenous values and cultural safety
? Facilitate cultural and land-based programming that supports healing, connection, and belonging
? Welcome community members through both scheduled and drop-in visits
Collaborative & Wraparound Care
? Partner with housing, health, and social support teams to offer wraparound care ? Contribute to shared planning and case coordination with a spirit of collaboration ? Participate in team learning and reflection to support culturally grounded practice
Communication & Accountability
? Maintain clear, respectful records of support provided
? Communicate consistently with teammates and supervisors to support coordinated care
Skills, Experience, and Requirements
We recognize that knowledge and strength come in many forms -- through lived experience, cultural teachings, community care, formal education, or simply being someone who shows up with heart.
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
? A valid driver's license and clear driver's abstract
? A Record of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Check (can be obtained during the hiring process)
? Knowledge of social work, child and youth care, Indigenous studies, community development, or related areas -- whether gained through school, work, or lived experience
? Some flexibility to work evenings and / or weekends
What could support success in this role:
? Experience supporting others through trauma, healing, or systems navigation
? Familiarity with local community services (or openness to learning)
? Training in Mental Health and Trauma-Responsive Approaches, including ASIST, Mental Health First Aid, and TCI (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention), etc.

Pay: $43,680.00-$52,000.00 per year
