About the Role

Origin Coast is currently seeking a Cultivation Technician. The Cultivation technician assists leadership with the day-to-day maintenance of the cannabis production facility. The candidate must accurately and efficiently complete the day-to-day production and plant maintenance task requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning and Sanitizing Propagation, Vegetative, and Flowering Rooms Plant Maintenance Follow plant protocols and procedures for propagation, veg, and flowering Trellising Pruning & Canopy Management Waste Removal /Shredding Data recording and presenting information to leadership Follow Health Canada protocols. Help maintain the highest standard of cannabis cultivation.

What You Bring

Must be 19+ years old High school diploma, or equivalent. Post Secondary Education is considered an asset. Good verbal and written communication skills Basic Math Skills Must have reliable transportation to and from the facility. Can work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays if necessary.

Site Conditions & Physical Requirements

Comfortable with exposure to allergens, chemicals, dust, odours, extreme temperatures, bright lights and a variety of environmental conditions Comfortable wearing full personal protective equipment while on the production floor. Able to lift, push and pull 35 pounds Able to bend, squat or stand for extended periods of time Able to use a ladder (up to 12 feet).
