FONCTIONS PRINCIPALES



Les fonctions principales d'un cuisinier Baton Rouge sont la qualite et l'exactitude des recettes de tous les aliments qui se retrouveront dans l'assiette de nos invites. Il se doit d'etre organise, propre de son travail propre de sa personne et efficace dans son travail. Le respect des normes d'hygiene et salubrite est primordial.

Preparation generale, respect des recettes, reception de marchandise, rotation des stocks, gestion des inventaires, mise en place des postes de travail, communication avec ses collegues et collaboration avec l'equipe de service, entretien et maintenance des equipements, nettoyage de son poste de travail quotidiennement, sont entre autres, des taches qui se rapportent au poste de cuisinier. Differents postes sont offerts tels que entrees et salades, grillardin, assembleur, preparation generale, etc.

Chaque cuisinier est membre a part entiere de l'equipe Baton Rouge. En plus de ses responsabilites, quel que soit son poste, chaque membre de l'equipe est responsable d'aider les autres membres de l'equipe de cuisine au besoin afin d'assurer le bon fonctionnement du restaurant.

CORE RESPONSABILITIES



The main functions of a Baton Rouge cook are the quality and accuracy of the recipes for all the foods that will be on the plates of our guests. He must be organized, clean of his own work, clean of his person and efficient in his work. Compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards is essential.

General preparation, compliance with recipes, receipt of goods, stock rotation, inventory management, setting up workstations, communication with colleagues and collaboration with the service team, upkeep and maintenance of equipment, cleaning of workstations work daily, are, among other things, tasks that relate to the position of cook. Different positions are offered such as appetizers and salads, grillardin, assembler, general preparation, etc.

Each cook is an integral member of the Baton Rouge team. In addition to their responsibilities, regardless of their position, each team member is responsible for assisting other members of the kitchen team as needed to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant.

QUALITIES/REQUIREMENTS:



Experience as a cook (asset). Bilingualism (asset). MAPAQ certification (asset) Punctuality and diligence in the performance of his duties. Has a sense of organization and priorities. Proper of his work and his person. Has a sense of organization. Fast and on the lookout. Has attention to detail. Ability to perform under pressure. Has a high level of team spirit.
Has a good physical shape.

The schedule varies depending on the position, day, evening or weekend. Frequent work on weekends and holidays. Full time or part shift. Possibility of overtime. Intensive work at mealtimes.
