Who we are

An R-LABS portfolio company, Ownablii is an early-stage B2B SaaS startup led by co-founder and CEO Marcel Greaux. A 20-year veteran in the real estate investment and mortgage space, Marcel is on a mission to tackle the housing affordability problem by providing home-seekers with a new path to ownership. Ownablii is building a fintech-enabled platform that enables co-ownership arrangements.

Who you are

You are a technical leader, product builder, and collaborator. You are an architect, a coder, a creator, and a mentor. Ideally, you have led complex projects in Fintech or Proptech platforms end-to-end and have exposure to marketplaces, blockchain, and matchmaking apps. Your reputation and connections in technology are one of your greatest assets with the ability to attract talented innovators and builders to join your team and make things happen quickly.

You may have a history of successfully building tech startups and new products. Or, you may have a reputation as the technical brain to bring in and strategically shape a product to bring a vision to life. Either way, you have the hustle, the presence, the grit, and the expertise to take an idea from concept to architecture to MVP product market fit success in the marketplace. You thrive in a position where you can roll up your sleeves, select the people, the technology, and the approach as you lead the design, development, and deployment of early solutions. You have the technical chops to directly contribute to the coding and product development in a high-growth, fast-paced, Agile environment.

As an exceptional partner, you can build trust, negotiate ownership and accountabilities and work closely with an engaging, face-of-the-business, Co-Founder while holding your own to recruit and manage a robust technical team and ensure alignment between our technology and business strategy. You are comfortable with ambiguity and can step back and look at the bigger picture, designing a flexible solution and responding quickly to changes in the industry, the marketplace, the team, and the business.

You can nurture relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels. You have a way of speaking, writing, and relaying information that engages people and expresses appreciation for diverse opinions and approaches.

At a high level, your accountabilities will include:

You are looking for an opportunity to bring your expertise and apply your insights and passion for owning the technical scope from the ground up. You will spearhead and be directly involved - in all aspects of the product, from architecture to launch. This includes:

• Collaborating with the Co-Founder to fulfill our mission and bring our purposeful vision to life.
• Leading the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.
• Providing thought leadership, innovation, creativity, and mentorship.
• Implementing and continuously optimizing technology solutions, standards and best practices to meet current and future business needs based on insights, experience, industry knowledge, and new trends.
• Building, overseeing the growth and managing the performance of an engineering team, and their work, including all system design and architecture changes
• Developing and controlling the annual operating and capital budgets for technology purchasing, staffing and operations.
• Working closely with Marketing, Business Development and Operations to define and deliver new products and enhancements.
• Co-managing this venture from a data-driven, performance-measurement-informed perspective.
