Ensure the continuous up-time and peak performance of JEOL equipment located within customer facility
Assist the facilities scientists and microscopists in the use of the equipment
Participate as a product development team member by acting as the liaison between the equipment\xe2\x80\x99s users and JEOL development and product management located in Japan and the United States
Prepare materials and documentation for training and continued use of the equipment and associated techniques
Work with third party vendors on testing of new accessory instrumentation and provide feedback to these vendors for instrument improvement
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline, plus 1-2 years of related experience
Knowledge/experience with electromechanical equipment, electronics, data management, computing hardware, networking, and programming
Experience with CryoEm, sample preparation, and/or biological TEM imaging is preferred
20% travel is anticipated to customer sites in North and South America to provide product support and training
