Join us now as a Microscopy Specialist where you will receive training to provide on-site technical support for JEOL cryo-electron microscopes in a highly automated, high throughput drug discovery lab environment. Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Ensure the continuous up-time and peak performance of the JEOL equipment located within the facility \xc2\xb7 Assist the facilities scientists and microscopists in the use of the equipment. \xc2\xb7 Participate as a product development team member by acting as the liaison between the equipment\xe2\x80\x99s users and JEOL development and product management located in Japan and the United States \xc2\xb7 Prepare materials and documentation for training and continued use of the equipment and associated techniques \xc2\xb7 Work with third party vendors on testing of new accessory instrumentation and provide feedback to these vendors for instrument improvement Requirements \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline \xc2\xb7 A minimum of 1-2 years related experience \xc2\xb7 Electronic, mechanical, data management, computing hardware, networking, programming skills and experience are desired and will weigh heavily in the selection process \xc2\xb7 Experience with CryoEM, cryogenic sample preparation, and/or biological TEM imaging is preferred, but not required \xc2\xb7 20% travel is anticipated to customer sites in North and South America to provide customer support and training What we offer \xc2\xb7 Competitive financial compensation \xc2\xb7 Retirement Contribution \xc2\xb7 Supplemental Medical Insurance \xc2\xb7 Generous time off How to Apply Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply online at http://www.jeolusa.com/careers Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year Benefits:
