Position Overview

This is a site-based position; travel throughout southern Alberta and southern Saskatchewan is required. This contract is 7 months and will begin in April 2023.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all equipment and machinery are properly working within the plant, this will require adjusting levers, breaking down materials to prevent blockage, adjusting equipment to regulate flow, etc.
  • Controlling conveyors, panel boards, pumps, gauges, and dials to ensure maximum efficiency and consistency of materials are being generated.
  • Proper documentation of all materials processed to ensure quality and production goals are being met.
  • Preventative maintenance on machinery as required.
  • Adhering to all safety policies and processes.
  • Additional tasks as required by supervisor.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiar with aggregates and the construction industry an asset.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, routinely lift up to 50lbs, and comfortable working in environment with noise and dust.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Awareness of surroundings and ability to perform job in a safe manner.
  • Self-motivated with good organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors, and the public in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Valid driver\'s license.
