Duties

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate cookers and fryers according to standards. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in all areas of the restaurant, including kitchen and dining spaces. Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure safe food handling practices are adhered to at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Experience operating restaurant-grade cookers, fryers, and chicken cutting machine. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Experience with food preparation and kitchen operations is beneficial. Familiarity with serving techniques and upselling strategies is advantageous.
