About the Role:
We are hiring a highly organized, hands-on Crew Lead to oversee daily field and warehouse operations, vehicle and equipment readiness, and site crew coordination. This role is essential to ensuring our emergency response teams are efficient, equipped, and professional. The ideal candidate will take initiative, maintain high standards, and ensure jobs are set up and closed out properly.
This is a leadership role that balances logistics, accountability, and teamwork in a fast-paced restoration environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Fleet & Vehicle Oversight:
Conduct daily checks to ensure all company vehicles are clean, fueled, and in proper working condition
Confirm that all vehicles are properly signed in out each day
Report any vehicle issues promptly and ensure maintenance schedules are followed
Crew & Timecard Management:
Ensure all crew timecards are fully completed with accurate job numbers and times
Support jobsite crew allocation and accountability throughout the day
Equipment & Trailer Management:
Oversee equipment sign-out/sign-in, cleanliness, and return to proper locations
Ensure trailers are in working order, allocated appropriately for jobs, and stored properly
Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure appropriate equipment is prepped for next-day work
Warehouse & Facility Maintenance:
Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure the shop/building is clean, organized, and in good working condition
Ensure chores and daily duties (e.g., sweeping, garbage, tool cleanup) are completed
Oversee functionality of storage areas, contents division, and supply stations
Administrative & Billing Prep:
Assist with job allocation and tracking for billing purposes
Monitor electrical usage in drying jobs and ensure it's recorded properly
Work closely with the admin/project management team to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Qualifications:
Previous experience in restoration, construction, or field operations
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Proactive and detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
Comfortable driving large trucks and trailers (G license required; DZ an asset)
Ability to use or learn digital tools (job tracking, equipment logs, etc.)
Reliable, punctual, and able to motivate others to meet high standards
Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
