Your Role

As a Credit Intern, reporting to the Credit Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Credit department in assessing credit quality of customers, pulling relevant data, analyzing financial statements, and organizing files.

Day to Day

• Processing payments/credits through third party credit providers
• Ensure payment & credit reports balance
• Update credit limit and credit balance on accounts if required
• Processing credit applications on customer accounts
• Pulling credit information from credit reporting agencies

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program with a focus on business, accounting and/or finance
• Previous experience working in an office environment
• Ability to work independently, as well as contribute to a team
• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Application Suite (Word, Excel)
