Lorvale Learning Centre is a private learning center based in Toronto. We provide enrichment programs to students aged 6-18 We are looking for part-time or full time public speaking and creative writing teachers to join us!

Requirements:

Dependable, organized, punctual, patient and passionate about helping students achieve full potential Ability to conduct the creative writing and public speaking lessons in an inspiring and engaging way Ability to create customized learning plans to meet individual learning goals OCT certification preferred Minimum three-year teaching/tutoring experience Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening or willingness to obtain one
Responsibilities:

Create and prepare age/grade appropriate subject lesson plan Deliver the lesson plan in an engaging and inspiring way Evaluate student assignments Periodically evaluate and communicate the progress of the students to center officers and parents Actively participate in staff meetings Willingness to assist in planning/implementing of special events and promotional activities for the center Willingness to cover other teachers as required
