With the flexibility to work from home, a coffee shop, from the top of a mountain or at our Head Office based in Vancouver BC, the Creative Strategist & Social Media Specialist is responsible for driving content strategy, creation, and execution across all organic social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand voice and marketing goals. This role also involves identifying trends, producing engaging content, and fostering community engagement, while analyzing performance data to optimize strategies and stay ahead of industry trends.

Let's get into the detail. This role will:

Creative & Content StrategyLead creative brief development to ensure content aligns with brand voice, marketing goals, and campaign strategies. Own the content calendar, planning and executing engaging, on-brand content across all organic social media platforms. Identify and jump on trends in real-time, ensuring Organika stays culturally relevant and ahead of the competition. Analyze competitors & industry trends to find content gaps and innovation opportunities.

Social Media & Community Engagement

Film and edit content (in-house & with partners) for social media, ensuring high engagement and shareability. Monitor and participate in cultural conversations, trends, and viral moments to strengthen brand relevance. Engage with our community, ensuring responses feel authentic and on-brand.

Reporting & Insights

Analyze content performance and provide actionable insights in monthly reports. Test, learn, and optimize--constantly refining content strategy based on engagement, reach, and conversions.

Perform other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you will need:3+ years experience in digital marketing, social media strategy, content creation, or creative strategy. Experience briefing creative teams and working on social-first campaigns. Knowledge of platform algorithms, paid & organic social media best practices. Expertise in managing social media scheduling and insights an asset. Adobe Express: Strong skills in Express for editing and creating social-first content. Asana: Proficient in project and task management to ensure campaigns are executed on time. Basic video editing abilities (mobile or desktop). Experience analyzing social media algorithms and best practices for organic and paid strategies.
