Job Description

The Creative Collaborator & Stylist will work under the direction of theCreative Lead.

In general, you will be carrying out activities and duties to create visual assets for the Creative department that will be used to promote the Tonic Living brand and products, while maintaining the brand aesthetics.

More specifically these activities will include:

Creative Collaboration



Support the Creative Lead to conceptualize topics and plan photoshoots for lifestyle imagery that highlight the brand as well as the function, design details and craftsmanship of all Tonic Living product collections (fabric, pillows, ottomans, drapery hardware and accessories). Subject matter will encompass Tonic Living products as well as the store, facility/workroom and team, as needed. Collaborate with the Creative Lead on internal/external prop and material planning, research, sourcing and procurement for use in lifestyle photoshoots. Lifestyle imagery is needed for: Product launches, occurring 2-3 times per year and span several months. Content for collection, product category, seasonal and promotional campaigns. Platforms that include: website, social media, blogs, email marketing, print assets

Styling



Support the Creative Lead to execute their vision for lifestyle photoshoots that highlight the Tonic Living product collection and brand image. Work with the Creative Lead and photographer on composition, lighting and angles to capture visually compelling images. Assist with setting up, moving, and arranging furniture, props, and styling elements as needed for shoots.

Non-Negotiables:



A minimum of 3-5 years experience in styling residential interiors and/or conceptual product shoots with a focus on home decor or lifestyle. A strong sense of style that complements the Tonic Living brand image, along with an interest and awareness of interior and lifestyle trends, style and visual composition. A keen attention to detail, ability to take feedback and work collaboratively, and strong communication and organizational skills will be essential.
All photoshoots will be done on-site at Tonic Living (unless otherwise planned for shoots on location). Having access to a car for occasional prop/material procurement will be an asset.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
