Job Description


We are currently hiring a crate builder for our manufacturing facility in Milton.
The right candidate has a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and has great attention to detail, previous experience using power tools and working in the shipping area.Job Title - Crate Builder
Job Location - Milton
Shift time - Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Hourly Wage - $21 - $24 depending on experienceAdvantages

Responsibilities
- Measuring and cutting wood to make pallets and crate for machinery
- Secure loads to pallets and quality check products prior to final check
- Ensure manuals are attacked to equipment and products are weighted
- communicate with shipping and production departments to ensure timelines are set
- Make paint corrections and other simple corrections as neededQualifications
- Experience with pallet and or crate building
- Lifting Requirements: Up to 60 pounds
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a manufacturing setting is required
- Familiarity with both hand and power toolsSummary
