Position Summary:
Provide support to the Trade Channel by supporting, learning, and developing strategies to support MCL Trade category Home Builder Account business (Residential New Construction) across Canada. This internal support role will assist MCL sales in managing and servicing home builder accounts in key territories, with a focus on increasing channel presence, leveraging our portfolio of brands to grow RNC share.
The objective will be to work with Regional Sales Managers and MCL Sales Agencies to standardize builder spec presentation packages, manage builder proposal contracts, maintain records through updating and tracking our company\xe2\x80\x99s builder matrix and segment influencer contact list. The Incumbent will also be required to maintain an opportunity matrix / funnel for the Canadian market. This role will eventually evolve towards the incumbent developing new business / accounts externally, starting with the participation in builder association meetings, including, but not limited to OHBA (Ontario Home Builders), to increase relationships and market share of Masco\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio of products.
The incumbent will work very closely with Sales, Channel, Brand (Marketing) and Product Management, Quotes to ensure that the necessary needs of the marketplace are understood, internally and externally to overcome the barriers to entry and drive success.
For success in this position the candidate must understand the complex sales cycle and product lines involved in residential new construction sales. The candidate must maintain open lines of communication internally across a broad array of functional areas.
