Cloud RAN seeks to work closely with our customers that are passionate about the delivery of virtualized RAN solutions. We try to accelerate product development with new fresh thinking. We challenge established flow with new methodologies and are active in open-source communities

You will

  • Technical guardian, governance of operations pipeline scope and maintenance
  • Incorporate operations pipeline 'in the flow' and ensure gating
  • Investigate when pipeline is down and assist with support/fixing the pipeline
  • Modify capability of pipeline with new feature scope and test requirements
  • Automate using common TAF and observability
  • Influence scope covered in soaking pipelines, for safe introduction of tools and platforms
  • Ensure connectivity between data pipelines and monitoring dashboards, gating loops
  • Continuous evolution of operations test channel inventory and test scope running in pipeline
  • Ensure connectivity with GTMS and other tools
  • Adopt state of the art coding guidelines and principles
  • System behavior monitoring, telemetry and adapting towards evolving traffic model requirements
  • Assist in med-long term goals such as Canary operations pipeline (DevOps thinking etc.,)
  • Send automated daily email alerts/status updates indicating health of operations pipeline
  • Active participation in knowledge sharing and operations pipeline demos to wider audience
  • Provide CI/CD services that enables rapid end-to-end development of Ericsson products through open-source technologies, high-quality work, and an innovative and service-oriented approach
  • Create customer and internal feedback loops to enable DevOps
  • Create Intelligent analysis (AI/ML) of production environment data to optimize our flows
  • Create metrics visualization
  • Create customer trials/demos/presentations
To be successful in the role you must have
  • Proven technical knowledge in the CI/CD and containers domain, for example, working with Jenkins, Spinnaker, GITLAB, GIT, Gerrit, Docker, Kubernetes, ELK, or similar tools
  • Work in an open way where we share our learning to secure that we as a team always are learning
  • Always keep a CI/CD mindset and incorporate automation right at the very beginning
  • Have service-minded mindset, team is there to lend a hand when problems arise. We have a service-minded orientation and help within and outside the team boundaries
  • Drive and embrace innovation and change with a collaborative mindset
  • Have strong drive towards achievements, delivery timelines
  • Expert working knowledge of industry AI/ML tools and 3PP software
  • Strong theoretical background of best AI/ML algorithms and approaches
  • Experience with multiple programming languages (e.g., C, Matlab, Julia, Java, Python, Perl...)
  • Expert understanding of the Linux ecosystem and with Linux kernel
