Enbala Power Networks, a subsidiary of Generac Power Systems, is focused on making the world?s power grids greener and more reliable, efficient and predictable by harnessing the power of distributed energy. Enbala?s real-time energy-balancing platform is transforming energy system operations through its revolutionary, highly flexible approach for creating controllable and dispatchable energy resources. It unobtrusively captures and aggregates available customer loads, energy storage and renewable energy sources to form a network of continuously controlled energy resources. The platform dynamically optimizes and dispatches these resources to respond to the real-time needs of the power system ? all without impacting customer operations.
Enbala is looking for an co-op or student intern for an 8 month, 40 hours a week term starting in January 2023. The location will be a mix of remote work and on location work in Enbala's Vancouver office. The successful candidate will support Enbala's systems engineering and platform operations teams during our busy summer season providing a range of tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Event monitoring and reporting support ? Ad-hoc data analysis in MS Excel or Python ? Monitoring and debugging automation scripts in Python ? Publishing and maintaining Tableau reports for customers ? Updating and troubleshooting Tableau reports ? Supporting the customer success team with software support requests from customers

Minimal Qualifications:

• 3rd or 4th year computer science or computer/software/systems engineering or related skill set

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Postman and/or software API interactions ? Experience with Tableau or other business intelligence software an asset

Knowledge:

• Beginner knowledge of Python and Postgresql (or other relational databases) ? Proficient in MS Excel

Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication skill

Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting; close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
