We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic financial team. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial management principles.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. Conduct financial accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing procedures. Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Provide financial insights through analysis of trends, forecasts, and variances to assist management in strategic planning. Mentor junior staff members in accounting practices and software usage to enhance team capabilities. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies. Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.

Requirements

10years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role within the financial services sector. CPA designation is required Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including financial management techniques and tax related. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks is essential. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills for presenting financial information clearly to stakeholders. A relevant degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not mandatory.
