for an
Accounting Manager with Tax & Assurance experience to join
our
team!
Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
Supervising and/or preparing working papers, and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards
Supervising and preparation of tax returns for clients across diverse industries
Review Canadian tax engagements including the completion of year-end tax forms and other government compliance returns
Conducting research on various tax and accounting topics
Developing direct client relationships
Correspond with clients and various government agencies to address tax compliance issues
Prepare correspondence, technical reports, client summaries and presentations outlining findings, facts, and highlights resulting from the client engagement
Supervising and/or preparing financial records and reports for Controllership clients
Maintain competence in Canadian Income, Sales Tax, Assurance & Accounting standards
Required to manage a variety of projects in Tax, Assurance & Controllership in an efficient manner
Contribute to the management and growth of the practice
Liaise and correspond professionally with clients, colleagues, and the firm leadership team
Experience and Education
Completion of CPA designation with Tax and Assurance experience
Minimum 5 years of experience (2 years post qualification)
Prioritize teamwork, client service, and quality while completing detailed work.
Exhibit strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
NPO experience is considered an asset
