Role Description
We are currently seeking a
designated CPA
(or a candidate in the final year of the CPA program) for a
full-time, on-site position
at either our Port Coquitlam or Surrey office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of
two years of public practice experience
, with demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation, tax planning, and general accounting advisory services. This role requires a client-focused approach and the ability to manage a broad portfolio of both personal and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support compilation, review, audit, and tax engagements
Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards
Prepare corporate and personal tax returns, as well as other required information returns
Communicate with clients and tax authorities in a professional and timely manner
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members
Perform complex reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in financial records
Stay current with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry best practices
Qualifications
Canadian CPA designation, or currently enrolled in the final year of the CPA program
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Minimum of two years of experience in a public accounting firm
Strong technical knowledge in finance, accounting, and tax
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
