TaxAssist Canada is a part of a TaxAssist Global Franchise operating multiple locations across Canada. We are professional, agile and innovative. Duties:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or other similar platforms - Preparing T1, T2, T2 and GST returns - Meeting with clients to gain an understanding of their accounting and tax needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
