Our well-established accounting practice, located in Strathmore, Alberta (30 minutes east of Calgary) is seeking the right candidate to fill the position of full-time CPA Accountant.

Some of the duties and responsibilities
Preparation of simple Review Engagement files, including corporate tax returns and financial statements;
Preparation of Compilation engagement, simple Review Engagement, and assistance on Audit files, including corporate tax returns and financial statements;
Preparation of Personal Tax Returns and supporting business statements;
Strong focus on client service and quality of work delivered;
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
Recent CPA Designation;
Recent CPA graduate with 3 or more years experience in public practice, preferably in a small or mid-sized firm;
Experience and confidence in the preparation of assurance engagements, including review engagement and audit, is preferred;
Familiarity with ASPE, ASNFPO, and PSAB accounting standards;
Experience working with Caseware, Profile (or similar tax preparation software), CCH IFirm, QuickBooks, QBO and strong proficiencies with MS Office;
Ability to work independently;
Preference will be given to candidates with previous mid-sized public accounting experience. Candidates with prior experience completing audit, review, and compilation engagements will be given significant consideration.
