Summary

We are seeking a Certified Public Accountant to join our team in Canada. This role is vital for managing our financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The position is based in our restaurant location in Canada.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all accounting functions including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting. Prepare financial statements and ensure accuracy of accounts. Reconcile bank statements and maintain account accuracy. Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and audits. Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and standards. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft. Support the management team with financial insights to aid decision-making.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Certified Public Accountant or similar role. Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft. Strong understanding of bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and payroll processes. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively in English and Punjabi. Full-time availability in Canada.
