About Us:

We are a passionate and dynamic team dedicated to nurturing young minds through the our programs - i-maths (https://i-maths.ca/) and UCMAS (https://ucmas.ca/). We are an internationally recognized, brain development program that boosts children's cognitive abilities through mental arithmetic . We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Instructors!

Position Overview:

As an Instructor, you will play a key role in helping children develop math & logical thinking skills, improve concentration, and enhance memory and problem-solving abilities. You'll work with students ages 4 to 13, guiding them through the curriculum using various techniques. This position is open across 10 locations in the Lower Mainland.

Duties

- Develop and deliver engaging and interactive instructional materials for students.
- Follow provided lesson plans and curriculum that align with educational standards and objectives, no additional work to create lesson plans required.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and techniques to accommodate different learning styles, guidance will be provided.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to student & parent.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices.

Requirements:

- ECE preferred, but Undergrads with strong passion to work with children will be considered
- Previous experience working with children is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students.
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability in working with diverse student populations.

Prior teaching or tutoring experience is an asset but not required
